I have seen a new version of RTIC/BUILT cups that these handles don’t fit. They look the same, but the top portion of the cup is wider. Put the lid in the boiling water for about 30-45 seconds. Using gloves remove the handle from the water and put on your cup. You will find that it will now slide up farther on the cup so the bottom ring will touch the cup. This has worked fine for me. I have tried this and it worked perfectly. The handle now fits perfectly on the cup and it is a very tight fit. The handle will not move once it is cooled.
